Caution Tape/Warning Tape
Drainage Superstore has a number of different caution tapes available to buy today, all at competitive prices.
Each caution tape carries with it a different warning, depending on the colour and text printed on the tape, so it is important that you get the correct tape for your latest project.
Yellow caution tapes
Here at Drainage Superstore we have a number of different yellow caution tapes available. The Underground electric cable warning tape is designed to enable individuals to locate electric cables without danger, and prevent people from accessing areas where electric cables present danger. We also have a yellow tape that should be used where gas pipes are located below ground to ensure they are not damaged and gas leaks do not occur.
Blue caution tapes
Blue tape is used to warn of water pipes and water mains being located below the ground, to prevent water pipes being damaged during construction work which can cause major leakages.
Red caution tapes
Red warning tape is used to raise awareness of a sewer pipe being located below ground. Sewage pipes carry wastewater and waste materials, and if these are damaged and leakages occur this could sever damage to homes and buildings.
Green caution tapes
Green tapes are used to warn of telephone lines, or fibre optic cables, depending on the wording you choose. Damage to either telephone lines or fibre optic cables will remove the ability for communications, and can result in serious consequences, so highlighting their presence will remove the potential to damage them.
