Suited to an assortment of domestic applications, the recycled polypropylene structure is ideal for pedestrian and light vehicular traffic up to Load Class A15.
With a built-in offset 10mm slot that doesn't impact design or efficiency, you are able to easily install BrickSlot HexDrain in line with doors, walls and garages. It is completely compatible with up to 60mm deep slab and block paving for landscaping projects, pathways and patios, and garage thresholds.
The inlet is tapered to prevent any disruptions and blockages of water flow. With an added debris guard, your drain will stop any unwanted sand or cement from getting inside while installation is underway. Channels easily clip together, and the installation guide marked on the grating makes for a quick and seamless setup.

What size is the knockout for vertical connection underneath and what's the best way to connect this to e.g. a 60mm or 80mm land drainage pipe, would you have to use the vertical outlet connector and 110mm bend and then a pipe reducer or just connect straight in?
Answer:
You would use the accessory pack - product code 19287. This would then connect onto 110mm pipework. You could use a short length of 110mm pipe and then something like a Flexseal coupler to reduce to a different pipe size.

Can this be used with larger slabs or only brick paving?
Answer:
Yes you can use with slabs as well.
Question:
Can the Brickslot be used as an alternative method if the paving is not the required 150mm below the DPC?
Answer:
Our suggestion on this would be for you to contact your local Building Regulations person, as the 150mm below DPC requirement is an ACO suggested installation detail.
With regards to Building Regulations, you should contact them to see if using our Brickslot Drainage would be sufficient.

Can this slot drain be mixed in with the standard aco drain
Answer:
Providing this is being matched with a Hexdrain, in theory this is possible, however only if there is a step of some sort that is the depth of the upstand on the brickslot. Both the Brickslot and the Hexdrain have the same channel, but the tops of different so on a standard run you wouldn't be able to mix these.

Can the 1m channel be cut to any length or is it restricted to cutting it at limited points along its length?
Answer:
It comes with a marker for a 500mm cut, but you can cut it anywhere and silicone and end cap to the cut edge.

How can you achieve 45 degree corners with slot drain?
Answer:
You will need to cut and mitre the channels together, there is not a pre made part for this.
