ACO StormBrixx is designed to optimize stormwater management via soakaway or attenuation by pairing a high void ratio with integral access chambers and an open cell structure for easier inspection. This stormwater management crate is certified to be able to form part of SuDS drainage systems as well as conforming to standards for adoptability by local councils.
ACO StormBrixx is manufactured from recycled polypropylene that can be recycled again at the end of its life. The 95% void ratio is higher than most other stormwater management crates and this minimizes the excavation depth as well as the amount of aggregate you need to backfill this system. ACO StormBrixx crates can be installed in car parks, commercial developments, residential developments and more. You can even cut the crates in half to better achieve your desired configuration.
Two injection-molded halves of ACO StormBrixx fit together with side panels, top covers and layer connectors to create one StormBrixx crate. Since the parts come separately instead of pre-fabricated your StormBrixx order requires less transportation. Up to 280m3 can be stacked in one lorry.
The ACO StormBrixx access chamber module allows for a drain-down facility as part of routine maintenance and features pipe connections for outlets up 350mm in diameter.
