Description

Rather than having a large silver cover that obstructs the view, the recessed frame can be filled with the substrate of its surroundings for a continuous finish. It disguises the cover and negates any unsightly appearances, ideal for grassy, tiled and paved surfaces.

Features a 3mm galvanised steel bottom plate and a reinforcement mesh to enhance strength
Can be filled with surrounding substrate to disguise the cover, ideal for grassy, tiled and paved surfaces
One seal at the base and a T-rubber seal on the outside frame to inhibit odours and dirt build-up

This product features two seals, one positioned at the base and the other being a T-rubber seal on the outside frame. Thanks to the T-rubber seal, tension between the frame and cover is decreased, inhibiting the escaping of odours and dirt build-up while maintaining a waterproof, odour-proof quality.

Double-sealed manhole covers are not lockable. See our triple-sealed options if you require a lockable manhole cover.
Manhole cover measurements are taken from the clear opening. Internal dimensions of the hole are taken to give the size manhole cover that is needed. Double-sealed aluminium recessed manhole cover sizes include from 300mm x 300mm to 1000mm x 1000mm in 48mm and 68mm in-tray depths.

The EN124 lorry load capacity, what is the actual tonne loading? We need 5 tonnes will this inset manhole cover give us this?

Answer:

This is okay for traffic. On the double sealed I would suggest domestic level traffic on the triple sealed they can go a little heavier.
