With two 2-inch opposed fittings, this boss pipe from Hargreaves Foundry is part of the Halifax Soil and Drain System which includes a full range of pipes and fittings for the transmission of rainwater and wastewater through your building to as far as the sewer.

Complying with British and European standard BS EN 877, this opposed boss pipe is made from incredibly robust cast iron material which coordinates enhanced surface coatings and exceptional strength to provide a fit-and-forget solution for most installations. This is particularly important when pipework is inaccessible and concealed and where maintenance would disrupt the dwellers of your building.

You'll be pleased to find that cast iron is sustainable which ensures that after functioning for the drainage needs of your building for its lifetime, this opposed boss pipe can be fully recycled, not 'downcycled'.

The Halifax system utilises Connect and Max couplings which both have a similar single screw design for above ground applications. They offer the speediest jointing method available on the market today for BS EN 877 above ground installations. If you would like to match your pipework with cast iron couplings, the Halifax ductile cast iron coupling is also available.
