After operating for the needs of your building for its lifetime, this boss branch is sustainable so it can be completely recycled without having to be downcycled. When properly fitted as part of your cast iron system, it can exceed a 100-year lifespan with minimal maintenance requirements. Manufactured to BS416 part 2 standards, this Traditional Express boss branch is provided pre-painted in a specially designed black gloss layer so it's ready to install, ensuring additional time savings on site.
As part of a contemporary cast iron system, this boss branch reproduces the aesthetic of a caulked lead jointed system, offering the heritage appearance of traditional LCC soil systems. Ideal for listed properties and conservation projects, it is suitable for a wide range of applications including traditional heritage projects, luxury housing and quality domestic properties, new build and restoration contracts and community and government buildings.
Traditional Express utilises push-fit sockets equipped with rubber sealing gaskets to join 100mm socketless pipes and fittings. The push-fit method delivers significant savings in labour for each joint. Full installation instructions can be supplied, and no specialist training is necessary.
