Find out moreConstructed from sturdy cast iron material, this 87.5° unequal branch from Hargreaves Foundry's innovative Traditional Express range is part of a push fit soil system that has been produced for long-term performance. Thanks to cast iron's sound-deadening properties and distortion resistance, it is especially suitable for soil and waste solutions.
Pre-coated in a specially designed black gloss paint, this soil pipe branch is ready to fit and offers extra time saving on site. Perfect for conservation projects and listed properties, it coordinates with a modern cast iron system to reproduce the aesthetic of a caulked lead jointed system to provide the heritage appearance of traditional LCC soil systems. Its typical applications also include quality domestic properties and luxury housing, community and government buildings, restoration and new build contracts and traditional heritage projects.
Due to being made from a sustainable material, this cast iron branch can be fully recycled instead of 'downcycled' once it has served the needs of your building for its lifetime. What's more, when fitted correctly as part of your cast iron system it can last more than one hundred years with minimal maintenance requirements.
Traditional Express uses push fit sockets fitted with EPDM rubber sealing gaskets to connect 100mm socketless pipes and fittings. This process ensures a quick installation and enables significant savings in labour for each joint. Full installation instructions can be delivered with no specialist training needed.
