Due to being a sustainable material, this Traditional Express boss can be fully recycled, not downcycled, after providing for the needs of your building for its lifetime. When correctly fitted as part of your cast iron system, it can last more than 100 years with minimal maintenance needs. Produced to BS416 part 2 standards, this 2-inch boss is pre-painted in a specially designed black gloss paint so it's ready to install, ensuring extra time savings on site.
As part of a modern contemporary cast iron system, this boss imitates the aesthetic of a caulked lead jointed system while delivering the heritage look of traditional LCC soil systems. Perfect for conservation projects and listed properties, its typical applications include government and community buildings, restoration and new build contracts, luxury housing and quality domestic properties and traditional heritage projects.
Traditional Express uses push-fit sockets equipped with rubber sealing gaskets to connect 100mm socketless pipes and fittings. This push-fit method offers significant savings in labour for each joint. Complete installation instructions can be supplied with no specialist training required.
