Constructed from cast iron, the Traditional Express range has outstanding sound-deadening and distortion-resistant characteristics.
Ideal for stretching the rubber sealing gaskets for your push-fit cast iron system, this gasket relaxing tool simply inserts into the interior of the gasket and is left to stretch it for several minutes to ensure an easy installation process between your soil pipes and fittings. Utilising push-fit sockets with rubber sealing gaskets to join 50mm socketless pipes and fittings, Traditional Express offers substantial savings in labour for each connection and this gasket relaxing tool ensures an even easier and quicker installation.
Lasting over 100 years once properly installed, the Traditional Express system has the additional advantage of minimal maintenance requirements. Complete installation instructions can be included, and no specialist training is necessary. Manufactured to BS315 part 2 standards, it is supplied pre-painted in a black gloss finish so it's ready to fit which saves you from added installation time on site. It is sustainable and completely recyclable after operating for the needs of your building throughout its lifetime, so it doesn't have to be downcycled.
Imitating the look of caulked lead jointed systems, the Traditional Express system delivers the heritage appearance of traditional LCC soil systems. It is ideal for a wide variety of applications including listed and conservation properties, new build and restoration contracts, quality domestic buildings and luxury housing, traditional heritage projects and community and government constructions.
