Manufactured using contemporary cast iron, this slip socket ensures a heritage aesthetic is maintained for traditional LCC soil systems and it is a suitable solution for listed properties and conservation properties.
Part of the Traditional Express range, the cast iron perfectly replicates a caulked lead jointed system appearance. The slip socket is also supplied pre-painted with specially developed black gloss paint. So it is ready to install and has increased additional time saving on site. The hasty installation is put further with push-fit sockets fitted with rubber sealing gaskets. Making jointing of 100mm socketless pipes and fittings easier. A cost-effective solution, the push-fit technology also maximises savings in labour for each joint. This is especially useful when full installation instructions are provided. So no specialist training is required.
Amongst the aesthetic appeal, this socket is manufactured to BS 416 part 2 standard. Cast iron is also a sustainable and durable structure. If installed correctly, it has the potential to last over 100 years with minimal maintenance required. Sound-deadening properties are also possible, making the material suitable for soil and waste solutions. Once the needs of a building have been served for its lifetime, you can fully recycle the product as needed. Not 'downcycle' like other materials.
