With a 70mm diameter, this single boss pipe from Hargreaves Foundry is part of the Halifax Soil and Drain system which includes a complete range of pipes and fittings for the conveyance of rainwater and wastewater through your building to as far as the sewer.

Compliant with British and European standard BS EN 877, this single boss pipe is manufactured from exceptionally durable cast iron material which combines outstanding strength and enhanced surface coatings to offer a fit-and-forget solution for most installations. This is especially important where maintenance would disrupt the occupants of your building and when pipework is inaccessible and hidden.

You'll find that cast iron is a sustainable material which means that after operating for the drainage needs of your building for its lifetime, this pipe fitting can be completely recycled, not 'downcycled'.

The Halifax system uses Max and Connect couplings which both share a similar single screw design for above ground installations. They deliver the fastest jointing method available on the market for BS EN 877 above ground applications. If you want to match your pipework with cast iron couplings, the Halifax ductile cast iron coupling is also available.
