This Cladco Composite Decking and Cladding Joist is a crucial component when installing Cladco decking or wall cladding. Manufactured from recycled plastic, the joists create a secure support system for deck or wall boards, ensuring everything is positioned correctly and providing a sturdy foundation for your project.
This versatile joist is suitable for most residential decking and wall cladding projects. When used for decking, it is recommended to be used in conjunction with a firm concrete base to ensure the joist support substructure is robust and reliable for your project. Similarly, when installing wall cladding, it is recommended to use the joists on a solid exterior wall. As a general rule, it is advised to purchase one joist per square metre of decking, and they should be spaced no more than 400mm apart.
