Bringing a modern style to your roof terrace, balcony or garden, this 2400mm domestic grade Hollow Composite Decking Board from Cladco is UV-resistant and fabricated from 40% recycled polyethylene and 60% recycled hardwood to ensure durability and longevity.
While traditional timber decking is prone to rotting, splintering and warping over time, this composite decking is an easy-to-install, low-maintenance, versatile alternative. This hard-wearing, durable composite decking has better slip resistance than timber decking, meaning it's safe to walk on, even in wet conditions.
This hollow-core decking board has a lightweight honeycomb construction and features narrow-spaced grooves that create a robust, low-slip walking surface on the upper side of the board. The wider spaced grooves on the underside offer an alternative look option that enables you to form a distinctive design for your home to transform your outdoor space.
The ends of the decking boards must be sealed off using Cladco Hollow Composite Decking End Cap Covers. With a variety of UV-resistant colours to choose from, you can match perfectly with your Cladco composite decking accessories.
Please note:
Question:
Could I use this product for raised beds in my garden. In other words one side would be permanently in damp under the soil.
Answer:
It is not recommended to use Cladco Hollow Composite Decking Board for raised beds in your garden. While composite decking boards are resistant to rot, they are not designed to be in contact with soil, as the moisture in the soil can lead to deterioration over time. Additionally, the chemicals in the composite decking may leach into the soil, potentially harming plants.
