Description

Designed for domestic applications, including driveways and paved areas such as garden patios, this DekDrain Slot Drain Metal Edge Channel Drain has an A15 load class for weights up to 1.5 tonnes and a length of 1m. It creates a neat, tidy and contemporary appearance with a square-faced, polished aluminium finish and has an elliptical shape that makes it a dry weather channel. Due to this, it has excellent water flow, promoting self-cleansing to limit the need for regular maintenance and blockage removals.

Also suitable as a threshold drain, you can install DekDrain Edge for a complete connection between hard landscaping and your property. Its 82mm upstand ensures easy laying by providing paving with enough space for a securing bed of mortar without the need for trimming the edges of the pavers.

Hi is it designed to fit tight against the face of a step? Also are the drains interlocking or do they require a joint ?

Answer:

Yes this can fit tightly against. 

 

They will interlock together, no connector pieces are required.

Is the width of the aluminium that is level with the paving?

Answer:

The width of the slot overall is 19.8mm with the gap itself being 8.2mm.

Question:

Is the aluminium grate removable for cleaning purposes

Answer:

You would need to purchase the access box along side the channels in order to access and clean the run. Product code DCD-SD-CQ.

Question:

Please can you confirm that this product includes both the slot drain upstand and the base channel section?

Answer:

Yes, this item is both the base channel and the slot upstand.
