Find out moreManufactured from polypropylene for drainage, protection, filtration, separation and soil reinforcement layers, this geotextile fabric from Wallbarn is a flexible, strong, thermally bonded, non-woven material. It is ideal for providing a first-rate separation layer for land drainage.
While allowing the flow of water through to the soil without any clogging, this geotextile fabric ensures soil saturation will not occur and helps to improve the stability and strength of the ground. With uniformity throughout the fabric, there are no weak spots present in its layers.
This geotextile fabric is suitable for numerous applications, including protection layers for roofing and foundation, erosion control for highway banks and watercourses, drainage and protection for landfills and tunnels and reinforcement for railways and roads. It is also frequently used as filtration and separation layers within structural waterproofing systems. Additionally, it is used between paving slabs and insulation boards on inverted roof systems and balconies, and it can filter solid particles away from the membrane and shield it from damage.
Geotextile fabrics come in various grades, thicknesses and densities from 100gsm to 800gsm, and strengths for specific applications. Recycled materials can also be produced. The product range encompasses roll sizes from 1m for compact spaces or limited access areas to 6m for extensive applications like landfills and roads.
