When setting up this chamber, ensure the opening is approximately 100mm deeper than the chamber's required depth, incorporating the lid and frame. The width at the base of the opening should closely match the exterior dimensions of the Titan box section, allowing for an approximate 25mm allowance for adjustment. With the pavement level, maintain an excess of 100mm to 150mm over the Titan box section being utilised.
The chamber's foundation can be created by employing a C30 dry mix at a 100mm depth, leaving a small aperture in the base to function as a natural soakaway. For optimal height and tilt customisation, consider utilising a galvanised steel frame with a composite lid. By situating the frame within the chamber and lifting it to the desired level, you can achieve a 100mm adjustment with each frame. Envelop the frame with C30 concrete for added stability.
Pole boxes come in two standard sizes: 300mm x 300mm x 450mm deep and 450mm x 450mm x 450mm deep. However, custom sizes are also available upon request. The pole boxes securely encircle the traffic signal through a specially fabricated wrap-around jaw, and concreting the traffic signal pole is strongly advised for optimal performance and support.
