Description

Available in a box of twelve, this Everbuild Dual Purpose Foam Cleaner is a versatile option that can be used to eliminate damp or unhardened foam. It can be fixed onto a foam gun applicator to flush the foam through, and it also features a spray nozzle for external use without the applicator, purging wet foam from both the gun and various building materials.

No solvent can dissolve polyurethane foam after curing, which can render your foam gun totally unusable. You can keep foam attached to the gun for a maximum of seven days. Any longer, and the foam could cure from the nozzle inwards, or the propellant could leak out. For cleaning in common scenarios when the foam is still attached, spray the gun foam cleaner on the nozzle's exterior before storing it to eliminate any deposits that could cause valve jams.

  • If you won't use the foam gun again within seven days, remove the foam can with gloves and goggles. Using the can's usage and safety instructions, attach the gun foam cleaner by screwing the canister onto the gun adaptor, being cautious not to cross-thread or over-tighten it, and release the solvent into a suitable container until the solution is entirely clear. Leave the cleaner attached for five minutes to remove any residue and pull the trigger again, then repeat two to three times after a further five minutes until the gun is clean.

  • This foam cleaner can be stored in cool, dry conditions between 5 and 25°C. It should be used within 12 months.
