Description

With good sound dampening properties, this side offset is also non-combustible requiring no extra lagging, fire collars etc. Manufactured from 100% recyclable cast iron, this side offset is fully sustainable and can withstand the long life of a building and unlike plastic, will not end up in a landfill. Suitable for conservation, heritage, refurbishment and restoration work as well as bespoke, new and unique designs on commercial, industrial, public or domestic buildings, this side offset has low maintenance requirements once installed with annual inspections recommended but remedial action is not usually needed.

With your choice of painted black or primed side offset, this offset is internally and externally painted. The painted offset provides an excellent paint finish which is vital to the longevity and performance of your Cast Iron offset, protecting the underlying substrate by providing a barrier between the Cast Iron and corroding elements and carried out by paint specialists in factory conditions. The primed side offset is coated in a dark grey primer which provides a surface that subsequent coats of paint can effortlessly adhere to, providing temporary protection to the surface and creating a barrier to corrosion until it can be overcoated with Acrylic, Polyurethane or Epoxy paint.
