This ABS horizontal shower drain features a quadrant cap finish manufactured from antimicrobial white ABS plastic. Offering high flow drainage rates, this shower drain is manufactured from a plastic compound drain body without compromising on hygiene, style or durability. Made from an ABS compound, these Harmer shower drains are treated with an antimicrobial layer. This layer reduces the growth of bacteria and improves hygiene. Better yet, ABS plastic is non-toxic and is 100% recyclable after its useful life. So you can dispose of the product with ease.
For quality reassurance, the shower drain meets BS EN 1253 requirements for design, flow and load testing. They have greater impact-resistant and are manufactured to be more secure thanks to their under-ribbed flange. Harmer also knows appearance matters. This is why a variety of caps are also available to complement other aesthetics in the bathroom. Regardless of whether this drain body is used in a domestic residential bathroom or a public bathroom.
If you are installing the drain in public areas, security fixings are available on request to prevent unauthorised access or removal of the caps. The top access trap is vertical and horizontal. When security fixings are removed it is easy to remove and replace if required. A connection can also be made to PVC pipes using connectors, but it's recommended that these ABS shower drains are connected directly to ABS solvent cement pipes.
