In addition to its durability, the Harmer SML system provides an environmentally friendly solution that can be fully recycled once it has reached the end of its lifespan.
At the forefront of cast iron innovation, Harmer SML pipes and fittings consist of grey iron to DIN 1691 (exceeding BS 1452 Grade 150 ISO 185 Grade 15) and couplings are stainless steel or ductile cast iron. To minimise post-installation maintenance and increase convenience as a result, fittings are internally and externally coated with epoxy (minimum thickness of 60 µm), while pipes have interior epoxy coatings (minimum thickness of 120 µm) and exterior primer coatings (minimum thickness of 40 µm). Available in 3m lengths, pipes have diameters ranging from 50mm to 400mm.
You can obtain quick and straightforward assembly without special equipment thanks to the socketless fixings of pipes and fittings, alongside the variety of couplings available. Being that it is highly versatile, you can implement the complete soil and waste pipework system for multiple installations, from pipe connections to stack to underground sewer connections. You'll also find it helpful for rainwater installations where Harmer Roof Outlets are present.
Harmer SML is BBA and Kitemark certified, providing a non-combustible solution that eliminates the need for fire protection collars and offers high tensile strength. It also provides CE Mark conformity and follows BS EN 877 standards.
