Description

With interiors lined with epoxy coatings (minimum 120 µm thickness) and exteriors coated in primer (minimum thickness of 40 µm), pipes are fashioned from grey iron to DIN 1691 (exceeding BS 1452 Grade 150 ISO 185 Grade 15). Fittings are made from the same material but instead include the epoxy coatings on the inside and outside (minimum thickness of 60 µm), reducing maintenance once installed. Couplings, on the other hand, are constructed from stainless steel and ductile cast iron.

A comprehensive soil and waste pipework system, Harmer SML ensures reliable connections while eliminating specialist installation equipment. This is thanks to the twin screw couplings made from ductile and stainless steel, as well as the socketless fixing of pipes and fittings. It supports various installation needs, from pipework connections to stack to underground sewer connections, including rainwater installations when used with Harmer Roof Outlets. Pipes come in lengths of 3m and diameters range from 50mm to 400mm.

Leading-edge cast iron technology, Harmer SML is BBA and Kitemark certified while adhering to CE Mark and BS EN 877 standards. The non-combustible system provides high tensile strength and reduces the need for fire protection collars.
