Finish

This gate is supplied unfinished and comes ready for home finishing. Softwood requires sealing and painting, and all staple holes need filling before decoration.

Technical Information

It is essential these doors are thoroughly painted prior to exposure to the weather in accordance with our door care advice. Face knots should be sealed prior to painting to prevent resin bleed, which can result where exposed to ultra violet light. Screw or staple holes will need filling prior to decoration.Must be installed and sealed in accordance with our "Door Care and Maintenance Advice" which comes supplied with each door.We recommend washing down with warm water and detergent every two to three years and re-coating in order to retain good appearance.

Storage

When receiving a door, it should be laid flat, fully supported off the floor in a cool, dry and fully ventilated area not near any radiators or heaters, with protective packaging intact.
