This is a lead dresser kit manufactured from Beech wood, and has been designed for professional use. This lead dresser kit consists of three lead dressing sticks of different sizes, a bossing stick, a setting in stick, a chase wedge and a bending stick.
This lead dressing kit is a heavy duty kit including all of the tools required in the shaping, bending and forming of lead flashing. The lead dressers are used to smooth the lead flashing or lead sheeting out before application, removing any wrinkles or bends in the metal. The bossing stick is key in the formation of corners within lead sheeting, as well as for shaping the lead sheet around any other structures. The setting in stick is required when creating folds in metal sheeting, with a wedge shaped face, and the chase wedge works in a similar way. The bending stick can be used as an alternative to a bossing stick, and is used for areas where there is more detail required as it has a smaller face.
