Easy to install and cost-effective, this GRP-made Marsh Uni:Gem Star is an exceptional septic tank conversion unit for transforming a polluting septic tank into a compliant sewage treatment plant. It allows water companies, homeowners and estate managers to clean the environment in an efficient way.

The system works by transferring existing effluent to the Uni:Gem Star unit through the inlet. The aeration chamber treats it to eliminate dissolved constituents. Aerobic bacteria, aided by diffused air and mobile media, accomplishes full treatment. In turn, the effluent flows to a final settlement chamber before discharge.

Both Uni:Gem Star models suit different types and shapes of septic tanks, while treating the septic tank discharge to an effluent quality of BOD 12.25:TSS 16:Ammonia 14.845 mg/l. This makes final effluent suitable for safely discharging into a river, ditch or watercourse.

For shallow-dig cylindrical septic tanks, this UG-SCS model surpasses EN12566-3 and EN12566-6 standards, complying with 2020 General Binding Rules (GBRs for septic tanks or small sewage treatment plants in domestic use).

  • Outstanding effluent quality of 12.25:16: 14.845 (BOD: SS: NH4)
  • Uni:Gem Star's GRP material passed all practical testing to achieve EN ISO 11925-2: 2010 standard
