It contributes to the perfect level access drainage solution where rainwater run-off and percolation are necessary. While rainwater run-off gathers at the hard surface level, percolation is relieved at the membrane level.
Available in three sizes, the rainwater channel system comprises slotted sides with a grill or slotted grating. Modulock slot-sided channels are ideal for podium decks, terraces and balcony areas alongside Harmer Rainwater Outlets and Modulock Pedestal Support systems, and are suited to inverted roofs, warm roofs, green roofs and podium deck constructions. They can be equipped with height-adjustable feet or laid straight on the structural deck, forming a drainage system that diverts rainwater for added safety at the point of access.
Creating part of the overall drainage plan for various kinds of flat roof or deck constructions, channel lengths can be purchased in 30mm, 40mm or 50mm depths. Height-adjustable feet raise and fix cross falls and irregularities in the supporting surface, ensuring they can defend buildings against weathering where the hard surface meets the structure, a particularly vulnerable point.
Simple location clips can be utilised for straight-line end-to-end installations, ensuring system stability. Factory-manufactured or site-formed irregular angles can also account for any changes in direction.
