From Wrekin, this manhole cover is recessed with a 80mm tray depth to accept block paving of 60mm. Perfect for areas where a steel manhole cover would disrupt the continuity of the view or pathway, this recessed block paving manhole cover allows for better design of outdoor areas and the continuation of a pattern or finish.
Manufactured from mild steel and galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461, the manhole cover and frame accepts bedding mortar more reliably and better than plastic counterparts allowing for a more stable and durable finished product. To increase the lifespan of the recessed block paving manhole cover, the lifting keyways have all been reinforced as standard to avoid any distortion that may result from lifting the cover.
Designed for light to medium duty areas, the gross laden vehicle weight of this manhole cover is 10 tonnes and the small moving wheel load for pneumatic tyres is up to 2.5 tonnes. This cover has a FACTA AAA rating.
