Including a fixing kit, roof felt and installation instructions, this Shire overlap shed boasts strong 34mm square framing. Both the roof and floor are made from solid sheet OSB. The building is dip-treated with a base layer which is ready for you to add a top coating after construction. The wall panels are fabricated from FSC Certified, high-grade, slow-grown timber.

Base note:
Please ensure your base is square, flat and level whether this is a concrete or paving slab base or on bearers. This makes certain that your building is stable and level and avoids excess strain on the panels that could trigger long-term damage/twisting. The building remaining level also means that the panels will fit evenly together, allowing the doors to shut properly, and eliminating gaps.
Timber note:
A good quality timber garden building starts with great quality timber. The most frequently used timber for garden buildings is pine. Shire buildings are produced using superior-quality spruce under strict Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) guidance. Spruce is sturdier than pine and offers a higher-quality finish. The timber is slow grown which ensures a tighter grain, far less warping and knots and less sap. In some instances, slight splits or 'shakes' may be seen in the timber. These are typical and will not affect the performance of your garden building.
