Description

Thanks to the storm-resistant opening joinery window, this Shire shed can provide enhanced ventilation and lighting. Featuring sturdy 34mm square framing, it comes complete with roof felt, installation instructions and a fixing kit. The floor is fabricated from tongue and groove timber while the roof is constructed from solid board OSB for an easy assembly process. The wall panels are manufactured from 12mm shiplap FSC Certified timber and come with a base layer preservative, ready for you to add a topcoat after installation.

Base note:
Please ensure that your base is flat, level and square whether this is a paving slab, concrete base or on bearers. This ensures the building is level and stable and prevents excess strain on the panels that could lead to long-term damage/twisting. The building staying level also means the panels will fit squarely together, preventing gaps and ensuring the doors close correctly.
Timber note:
A good quality timber garden building begins with good quality timber. The most commonly used timber for garden buildings is pine. Shire buildings are constructed using high-quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce is more durable than pine and provides a higher-quality finish. The timber is slow grown which means less sap, a tighter grain and far fewer knots and warping occurring. In some cases, slight splits or 'shakes' may be seen in the timber. These are normal and will not affects the performance of your garden building.
