Description

With an apex design that makes the most of space, this 6ft x 8ft Shire Super Value Overlap Apex Shed can be used as an effective storage solution when it comes to your gardening equipment and tools. The two fixed windows are the perfect way to brighten otherwise dreary spaces and the single door can be secured with your own padlock alongside the hasp and staple catch.

The shed includes solid sheet OSB flooring and roofing, and the wall panels are constructed from high-grade, slow-grown, FSC Certified timber. Having been dip treated with a basecoat, you can give the shed a topcoat when it is fully assembled. Including a fixing kit, roof felt and installation instructions, Shire sheds benefit from their strong 34mm square framing.

Please note:

  • The imperial measurements are rounded so use the metric sizes for precision. Make allowances for the roof overhang and access around the outside throughout construction and treatment. Once ordered, an option to choose your delivery day will be accessible. On the day of delivery, live tracking is provided.
  • Base note:
  • Whether it is a concrete or paving slab base or on bearers, your bases should be flat, level and square. This way, you can stop panel strain, twisting and long-term damage. Panels also fit squarely together, gaps are reduced and doors can shut properly.
  • Timber note:
  • Pine is used frequently for garden buildings, but Shire utilises high-quality spruce with FSC guidance (Forestry Stewardship Council) for advanced durability and finish. Tighter grain, less sap and warping, and fewer knots are the results of slow grown timber. While sometimes splits or 'shakes' can appear, performance is not hindered.
  • Delivery is restricted to mainland England and Wales. If you are unsure whether your postcode is excluded, please call us to confirm.
