Description

Spacious, sturdy and beautifully designed, this Shire window overlap apex shed measures 7ft by 7ft. Wide double doors make accessing the interior of the shed easy, whether that may be to store items or take equipment out to use. The double doors also feature a hasp and staple catch to allow you to use your padlock as soon as possible. A single-opening safety-glazed window makes sure ventilation is possible, also allowing light into the shed, and can be fitted in different locations. Solid sheet OSB board has been used for the roof and flooring.

This window overlap apex Shire shed's wall panels are manufactured from FSC-certified, high-grade, slow-grown timber. The building is dip treated with a base coat ready for you to add a top coat after assembly. All Shire sheds feature a sturdy 34mm square framing and a full fixing kit, roof felt and instructions.

The imperial measurements are rounded. You will need to refer to metric values for accurate sizing. Make allowances for the roof overhang and the access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment. Base note:
Please ensure that your base is flat, level and square. Regardless is the material you're using is concrete or paving slab base or on bearers. It ensures the building is level and stable to prevent excess strain on the panels. A lead cause of twisting and/or long-term damage. The building staying level also means the panels will fit squarely together, preventing gaps and ensuring doors close correctly.
Timber note:
For a good quality timber garden building, good quality timber is a must. The most commonly used timber for garden buildings is pine. Shire buildings are constructed using high-quality spruce under strict FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) guidance. Spruce is more durable than pine and has a higher-quality finish. The timber is slow grown to enable a tighter grain, less sap and far fewer knots and warping occurring. Slight splits or 'shakes' may be seen in the timber in some cases. These are normal and will not affect the performance of your Garden Building.
