Tensar TriAx TX160 Geogrid is designed specially to stabilise construction aggregate in larger projects. Manufactured from polypropylene it’s been punched and stretched in a hexagonal pattern to give a stabilising layer to a substrate. TriAx TX160 will hold the aggregate firmly in place with the ability to work effectively in heavy duty environments.
TX160’s hexagonal grid works by using a rib structure to create triangular holes within the hexagonal structure as a way of adding durability and strength. Tensar TriAx TX160 works to stabilise aggregate via the triangular holes as they lock in to the isotropic pattern so the aggregate below will remain solid under moving wheel loadings as well as static wheel loadings from cranes or tracked machinery for example.
With this product you’re able to increase the bearing capacity of your project, reduce the excavation required on site and control the settlement of aggregate, keeping it all in the correct place for longer. You don’t need to build up such a thick layer of aggregate with Tensar TriAx TX160 as the stabilisation it offers is unparalleled and this helps to extend the life of the road above as well as reducing maintenance costs.
