Gullys & Gratings
Gully covers, also known as drain grids, are designed to prevent debris from entering gully systems, minimising the risk of blockages while still allowing surface water to pass easily into the drainage system. There are many different options available, and it’s important to choose the grid cover prior to installation.
When it comes to choosing the right grid cover for your project, the type you need largely depends on the required application. If you’re installing on a patio you can pick any type of grating you like, but for a driveway, you must choose at least class B, and on carriageways, you must have at least class C.
We also stock a range of sealing plates, which are designed to close off gullies either temporarily or permanently. For example, if hazardous liquids are spilled nearby, sealing plates can prevent the liquid from flowing into the gully, meaning rivers, lakes and water treatment plants avoid being polluted or contaminated.
